A one to one consultation is important, not only is it a great opportunity for us to discuss the ideal shaping and colour of your brows, but also for you to ask me any questions that you might have about microblading and the aftercare involved.
Some clients feel nervous or apprehensive and by discussing these reservations one to one, it will help you to decide if microblading is for you!
The 15-20 minute consultation includes the following:
- An explanation of how the brow shape is mapped.
- A pigment colour will be discussed and decided upon and a patch test carried out.
- A brief explanation of the microblading process.
- An explanation of the health questionnaire and consent form.
- Aftercare will be outlined.
One of the main reasons a consultation is required is so that an essential patch test can be carried out (at least 48 hours prior to a microblading appointment), this is to detect and prevent any allergic reactions to the pigment or topical anesthetic that are to be used during the procedure. (However, completing a patch test can not 100% guarantee that you will not have an allergic reaction following microblading.)
Any other queries or questions that you may have can of course be discussed.
